Frankly...AmazingEverything from the sausage pepper pizza to the incredible lemon-glazed, pistachio topped cheesecake hit the spot. Last time, I had a delicious vanilla soda. I've only been here twice but that's enough to know that this place is a solid 5 stars in my books. I don't eat pizza very often but I highly recommend this place, probably over any pizza place I've been to so far.
I prefer this place very much. It has a very special feeling. The cuisine is tasty. the service is effective and the waiters are very professional. The pay is honest. I highly recommend.
Great stone-fired pizza place. This Kensington classic had been our "must visit" list for quite some time. Shame on us for waiting so long to sample the crispy crusts and wholesome pizza. We washed down the personal pies with a cider or two. If you want something other than the usual cookie cutter offering, try Frankly!
The best pizza in Kensington and one of the best in the DC area.
My wife and I moved to Kengiston last summer and just found this gem! Great dinner tonight and we're already planning to return with friends and family.
Our go to pizza place. Have not had a bad pizza there. When open for dining. The service is great. So happy opdn for carry out now! Favorites include their spinach pizza and mushroom pizza. Their salads rock too!
Best pizza here in Maryland. Amazing atmosphere and excellent service, and the pizza.... ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! Highly recommend.
Frankly Pizza was delightful. Great pizza, good beer, superb service and satisfying dessert. We will be back.
This is one of my favorite neighborhood go-to pizza places. The service is always excellent on the phone and in-person. Their pizza is really tasty, and they even have a vegan option, (which in my opinion is actually better than the cheese). Overall a great atmosphere while eating there and delicious food!
Nice restaurant with really good pizza. Not sure it was worth the long wait but it was obvious from the others in line that they thought so. I would rate service higher than the restaurant over all, staff all worked hard to make sure the wait was as enjoyable as possible.
Finally made it here - short, sweet menu pizza heavy of course, started with marinated olives vice arugula salad. Pizza is a proper Neapolitan style in a wood fired oven. Beer list is short but varied with focus on regional craft brewers. Wine list also short but wines on tap were decent. Wait times can be long during peak times Friday and Saturday, so plan accordingly. Overall a good experience, will definitely return. Pictured is the mushroom pizza.
What a nice place! So untypical American. It is absolutely worth to wait some time for your ordered pizza. You can watch the process of making it. The taste is heavenly and you can taste the burnt wood even from the oven. The pizza options are very nice chosen and are a good combination of ingredients. Full recommendation! Molto bene!
The wonderful reviews are not exaggerations. This pizza joint is beyond special. The Hot Mess is sweet, savory, and spicy. It is my favorite pizza in the world!
Great homemade toppings, good wholesome taste. The blackberry mojito homemade soda was good too.
We love this place, go there with our kids all the time and there's the park right across the street while you're waiting. Best pizza in the area! They also have GF dough you can ask for if you call the day before and reserve one under your name.
Had a good experience in here with my daughter. The food comes rapidly and the service is just excellent. Prices are fair.
Excellent pizza, the dough had great taste, just wish we could have a bigger size.
Very good food. Took awhile to come out but best pizza in awhile.
I arrive at this unique place often since I enjoy the special air that is unique to this place. The personel is extraordianrillyremarkably loving and experienced. The service is absolutely quick. Also, the food they serve is perfect. I frequent often and I was always happy. The expense is decent. I highly recommend this place to all my friends.
Delicious pizza. Just the right amount of chew and char. Nice beer and wine selection to boot. And the adorable neighborhood can't be beat.
This the BEST pizza I've had in the DMV. Potentially the best pizza I've had here in the United States. Absolutely phenomenal.. The flavor was just amazing. I plan on going again this weekend. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!!!
Friendly service, quality ingredients, fresh and quickly prepared pies. The salad was surprisingly excellent, as were the olives. There was virtually no wait and everything was very unique. The crust and the dough was quite flavorful, as were the meatballs. Beware, the pies are all one size and quite pricey. However, I found that this place was worth it.
The best pizza around. I go out of my way when I am in the DC area to visit this place. Had to get take out last time I was visiting and it was still wonderful! Pizzas are made to order in a giant brick oven. The bacon and egg is still my favorite, but sometimes the eggs get a bit over cooked. I also enjoy the garlic pizza (add the home cooked bacon). The red sauce pizza are also great. The sauce has a great flavor and it doesn’t overpower the other ingredients. Also, save room for the seasonal desserts like key lime pie, lemon cake, and blueberry buckle.
This place is worth the hype and is quite possibly one of the top 3 pizza places in the DC metro area. My pizza club and I came by today for a taste after much recommendation from friends. We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality and the flavor profile of each of the pies. I highly recommend.
